DCD Flag Crew - Garland Labor Day Parade
All members of the Duck Creek District are invited to participate in the 72nd Annual Labor Day Parade. Scouts from across our district will carry flags as we lead the parade down the streets of Garland. Drop off NO later than 8:45am
*Scouts BSA (Boys and Girls) will carry larger flags provided by the Noon Exchange Club of Garland
*Webelos–May carry larger flags or may carry smaller flags by choice. A den leader should attend and walk with each Webelos.
*Cub Scouts will carry smaller flags and wave them proudly. A parent should attend and walk with each cub scout.
The parade route is approximately ½ mile long. Beginning at the Corner of Glenbrook and 9th Street (east of Central Park) There is NO parking near the drop off.
Route is North on Glenbrook, East on Main, North on 5th Street. Parade ends at the Granville Arts Center Parking lot.
Uniform is full uniform - Scouts BSA and Venturer’s should wear scout uniform shirt and scout shorts or pants. Cub Scouts should wear cub scout uniform with navy or khaki shorts)
Comfortable walking shoes and water are required!
