Scouts Can!

2019 District Dinner

Recognizing 2018 Eagle Scouts, Outstanding Youth, and Outstanding Scouters

2019 Duck Creek GEMS Award (Going the Extra Mile in Scouts). We urge EACH unit to select one outstanding youth and one outstanding adult. Please return the form by Friday, Feb. 22, 2019. This form is NOT a nomination, but a selection. Each person who is submitted WILL be recognized at the Duck Creek District Dinner Friday, March 1. Also, the information that is listed under “Reason for Selection” will be included with the certificate and read at the dinner. The Contact and Email or Phone should be the person submitting the form. Some units have paid for their outstanding youth and adult, which is fine, but please tell me in advance so this will be marked on the registration/check-in list and we will not ask them for money. One other suggestion from past dinners: Please notify your recipients in sufficient time about making dinner reservations because the price will increase to $25 if reservations are made after Feb. 24; several recipients called late in the past because they were told late and I had to charge the higher amount. Our committee knows there are many outstanding individuals in the units and we would like to recognize them.
